Every year I procrastinate getting a wish list together. It’s like I suddenly have no wants or desires when someone asks me what I want for Christmas. Then the holidays pass, and BAM! I’m able to find all sorts of things that I should’ve put on my holiday wish list (what’s up with that?). Well, this year I’ve made my list early and thought, “Hey, these things are pretty cool. I’m sure my girlfriends would love these!” So, here’s a list of 10 Beauty Items you need to add to your wish list, get for your besties, or gift to yourself (#justsayin):
Disclosure: Some of the products on the following list are affiliated links. However, as mentioned previously I only recommend things that I would use or have used.
1. Frank Bod Body Scrub
Winter really does a number on our skin. Mine personally always seems so dang dry! It’s ridiculous. My friends and family always joke about me having scales (and dragon skin isn’t exactly the look I’m going for). So needless to say, my skin’s been dying for a new body scrub. Frank Bod with his 689K instagram followers proves to be the popular choice, and the array of “babes” posing with his products makes me feel like I’m missing out! Plus I love coffee. Seems like a win win to me.

2. GlamGlow Face Mask
I’m always extra cautious when it comes to things that I put on my face — I think anyone who’s ever had a breakout is probably on the same page. But GlamGlow has some pretty good reviews, and their fans are completey obsessed. I’ve watched tons of videos on youtube about their products and they look like they work really well. Plus, who can resist a shiny silver face mask?
GlamGlow has different masks that match your specific needs, which just makes it even better.

3. Charlotte Tilbury’s Rose Gold Eyelash Curler
I like pretty things, what can I say? Rose gold is such a hot trend, and eyelash curlers are one of those things you probably haven’t given a second thought to — now maybe you’ll think twice! Having a good eyelash curler really makes a difference in opening up your eye area, and makes your mascara look a-m-a-z-i-n-g.

4. Benefit’s ‘Yes They’re Real!’ Volumizing Mascara
Speaking of mascara, I use this mascara personally and I LOVE IT! Hands down one of the best volumizing mascara’s out there (if not the best). It does what it’s supposed to do, lengthens and thickens. I asked for this last year ( I ask for it every year actually), and again this year because it’s so good. Try it. You’re going to love it too.

5. Zoeva Makeup Brush Set
I’m a snob when it comes to makeup brushes (there I said it!). I just think that something I pay good money for better last and do what it’s supposed to. I don’t have time to deal with products that don’t work, or leave tiny hairs everywhere. These Zoeva brushes pass the sniff test. I haven’t actually gotten my hands on a set yet, but the deep grooves on the ferrals are a dream come true! I hate brushes that come off the handle, and these look like they won’t disappoint. (Did I mention they’re rose gold?)

6. Glossier Haloscope
Who else is absolutely in love with highlighters? Whenever someone says “highlighter” I’m like a moth to the flame. I hope this trend never goes out of style. Glossier has an affordable highlighter that comes in different shades and is multi-placeable (yea, I just made that word up). You can use it on your face, lips, eyelids, and you can change up the intesity. This little goodie needs to be in your makeup bag and hopefully you’ve been good this year.

7. Bittersweet Hair Tie Bracelet
This clever lady found a way to save us women in the name of fashion. Hair ties are one of those things that you always seem to lose, and most of the it time seems particularily insignificant. But some how when you’re taking that final glance of your outfit in the mirror, you become acutely aware of the little elastic band. Don’t worry, Maria Shireen has got this covered with her hair tie bracelet that hides the fact that you are actually wearing a hair tie on your wrist.

8. UV Toothbrush Sanitizer
As someone who has worked at a dental office, let me tell you that mouths are full of nasty bacteria. Even if you’re changing your tooth brushes out at the recommened 3-4 months, your tooth brush is still prime real estate for strep, e.coli, staph and more. (Did you just freak out? Yea. Me too.) UV light is said to reduce all of that nastiness — so in favor of good dental hygiene and keeping our pearly whites, let’s all add this to our lists.

9. OPI Nail Polish
I feel like it’s always nice finding a nail polish in the bottom of your stocking. OPI is a professional brand and one of my personal favorites. They have so many different colors to choose from and the polish is long lasting. Put a little goodie bag together and stick one of these in there — watch the person’s face light up. There’s just something about nail polish that brings simple joy.
10. USB Leather Tassel Keychain + Charging Cord
Last, but defintely not least, is probably one of the coolest things on this list. Urban Outfitters’ USB Leather Tassel Keychain + Charging Cord is a stylish way to ensure your precious phone never runs out of juice. I never seem to remember to bring a charger when I go out, and when I do remember I sorta dread having a snarled mess of cords in my purse. This tassle is super stylish and keeps your purse cord-free. Comes in two colors incase pink’s not your thing.
I hope that you get the chance to try some of these products! And if you do please leave a comment below on your thoughts about it.
